Ali will be using 2 methodologies :
The technical method and the spontaneous method of the body movement within its own tools. We will focus on the memories of the body and the private baggage of the individual and his/her own quality of movement. The workshop will be based on 3 main parts : The warm up: stretching, warm up for the muscles, how we function our muscles effort? The methods of using our physical effort in a dance sequence. Mental warm up through concentration exercises and coordination of movement... Second part: physical warm up and rhythm, through creating a series of repetitive movements based on a stable rhythm, followed by improvisations based on tools that will be given by the trainer. 3rd part: the pure technical part, that includes the way of using the weight of the body and moving it in the space, in addition to the method of controlling the pelvis, being the center of the body. This phase will conclude by the creation of a choreography based on tools and material used before during the workshop. |
what is the objective of the workshop |
This workshop aims to train the senses and the awareness of the body to its space, which guides to reach the pleasure of moving and dancing.
