Figure No. 7, is an installation by performance and installation artist alaa minawi that was installed at the entrance of the famous arts space and club "De School Amsterdam" for 12 months. The art work depicts a person sitting at the entrance waiting for everyone to come inside and join the club. De School Amsterdam is closing its doors and with that Figure No.7 leaves the rooftop and starts its world tour. Figure No.7 is part of a series under the name "out of body experience" that depicts the continuous strive to reach an out of body experiences through dance. The outline of the statue is disconnected at the shoulder side as they are achieving that goal.
